What can you use the app for?

Zoho Invoice is the company’s response to users who need invoicing services. The application allows the user to send attractive, professional invoices to clients. The user can build invoices that are automatically set in the client’s currency and language. Zoho Invoice also works with zPost, which allows the user to send invoices by snail mail without actually printing the document and putting it in an envelope. The whole process is handled by zPost, the user only has to submit the request and pay for postage. Users can also set up online payment acceptance options through Authorize.Net, Paypal and Google Checkout. Users can log in to their Zoho account to track invoice and see who has made payments and how much was paid. Automated messages can be set to generate a thank you message when the client makes a payment. Along with thank you messages, users can also set up automated recurring invoices and payment reminder notifications. The user can also configure late fees and access all invoicing related information instantly.

Zoho Invoice was launched in March 2008 as a new addition to the Zoho Suite. Zoho invoice is a popular application which is used widely by the diehard fans of the Zoho club.

What are the differences to other apps?

Zoho Invoice offers all the convenient features a user could want when dealing with invoices. The user can set up specific automated responses and notifications which are sent when a client makes a payment or misses a payment. The user can choose from multiple payment portals and can choose to add in their own late fees.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

Most Zoho users immediately recognize the vibrant Zoho logo which is positioned in the upper, left hand corner of the homepage. Just below the logo, the user can access a row of buttons in dark blue that provide access to each page on the site. Additional links are found above with a scrolling header and screenshots gliding by at the center of the page.

How does the registration process work?

Newcomers to the Zoho Invoice homepage can begin registration by clicking the red “Sign Up Free!” link nestled in the upper, right hand corner (to the left of the blue “Sign In” button). Doing so takes the user to the registration form. The form requires a password and email address. The user is also asked to correctly enter the word verification code near the bottom of the page. New users must also click the top check box to confirm their agreement with the Zoho privacy policy and terms of service before submitting the form.

What does it cost to use the application?

Zoho Invoice offers users four membership plans. The first is a free plan which permits up to five invoices or estimates per month, unlimited customers, access for two users, one project, online payment acceptance, expense tracking, invoice branding, multi currency and multi language features, recurring invoices, reports, SSL security and more. The Standard plan costs around $15 per month and upgrades to include 150 invoices and estimates per month, access for three users and unlimited projects. The Premium plan costs around $25 per month and includes up to 500 invoices and estimates and access for four users. The Elite plan costs around $35 per month and upgrades to 1,500 invoices and estimates and access for five users.
